I came across this beautiful grey seal pup today whilst waiting for the rain to clear in order to do a portrait shoot……..Isn’t she lovely!
Daylight arrives to reveal the true impact of last night’s Southerly gale along the Suffolk coast.These images show how vulnerable the river Alde is from the North Sea. The fragile sea wall just south of the Aldeburgh Martello Tower has almost breached once again with very little resistance.
With another storm forecast for Friday, lets hope it doesn’t happen.
Or is it just a matter of time now!
It’s 3pm on Mon 23rd Dec and Southerly Gale force 8 with High Sea’s. Winds expected to touch storm force 11 after midnight.
Oct saw the worst gales since 1987 and only two weeks ago we saw the highest storm surge since 1953.
