A magical Sunday on Aldeburgh beach. Reminded me of my childhood, the excitement of capturing those wonderful snow scenes before it all melted away in the warming sun.
Must dig out my old Nikon FM and put a roll of film through it one of these days!
As noon approached and still a chilly -2°C on the beach, the clouds finally receded to transform the landscape into a beautiful playground as so often happens when we get snow. The soft pastels resembled a beautiful watercolour.
As I was about to take the frame, a family strolled into my picture to add life and fun as they enjoyed a good snowball fight. Click! and the image was frozen – both in mind and in print.
